Our Story
Gravity: A Woman's Worst Enemy
Even before Isaac Newton was hit on the head by an apple at his family farm in 1666 people had long known about gravity.
"What goes up, must come down."
"The bigger they are the harder they fall."
These aphorisms are not specifically about breasts, but they could be. Any woman can tell you that their breast and nipples get lower as the years go by.
Larger breasts get lower faster than smaller ones. Childbirth, breastfeeding and weight gain can all accelerate the process of gravity. Nowadays, we know how gravity works and which way it is pulling the breasts, so we know how to counteract it. Bras that give us support underneath the breasts work against gravity and keep the breasts from sagging and the skin from stretching. Any bra can do this, but some are more comfortable than others.

Some facts about Breast Cancer:
- Scientists have studied many factors over the years to see if they could be related to breast cancer. One of the areas studied was bras and underwire bras. The studies concluded that there is no link between wearing an underwire bra or any other type of bra and breast cancer.
- Another area that has been studied is deodorant/antiperspirant and breast cancer risk. Studies have found no link between breast cancer and deodorant, so please keep using it when you need it!
- There have been multiple studies of both silicone and saline breast implants to assess the risk of breast cancer related to implants. A meta-analysis, combining 10 of these studies found that there is no increase in breast cancer risk among women with implants.
- Fact, several studies have shown that women with breast implants have a lower risk of breast cancer than women without implants. Most scientists don't think that implants prevent cancer. We think that either women with implants have more breast exams by themselves or others and find lumps before they become cancerous, or that women without implants have more breast tissue and that's why they are more at risk.
